The Call for Abstracts for the 17th Arctic Ungulate Conference is now open
The 17th Arctic Ungulate Conference (AUC) will take place on 10-14 May 2027 in Rovaniemi, Finland, and the organizers are now calling for abstracts.
Every fourth year held AUC gathers together people working with Arctic ungulates and their economy, conservation and management. The theme for the 17th AUC is Arctic ungulates in modern environments, which sets a forum for discussion about the challenges Arctic ungulates face today with the increase of human pressure and climate change. How can these modern challenges be addressed with the help of research, management, local knowledge and policy?
To answer this question, AUC brings together people from multiple disciplines: researchers, wildlife managers, reindeer herders and other pastoralists, students, and other professionals working with northern ungulates.
Now, the organizers are calling for abstracts with a maximum of 300 words. Abstract can be either for an oral or poster presentation. Please note, that abstracts should be written only in English and in a text-only form.
