Timo Koivurova new member in FIIA Scientific Advisory Council
The Excecutive Board of the Finnish Institute of International Affairs has appointed Arctic Centre research professor Timo Koivurova as a new member of FIIA Scientific Advisory Council for a three-year period between 2021 and 2023.
Of
the 18 members of the Council, professor Koivurova is the only one coming from
Finland. The tasks of the Scientific
Advisory Council include offering advice on FIIA’s research policy guidelines, the
assessment of the quality and relevance of its research work, and the support of its
international activities.
The Finnish Institute of International Affairs, established by the
Parliament of Finland, is a research institute whose mission is to produce high
quality, topical information on international relations and the
EU.
